Sikhi Sambhaal Upraala – Turban

An unconditional effort by the Sewak Jatha Eshnaan group, who do sewa by cleaning the sewerage around the periphery of Shri Harmandir Sahib every Saturday night. The group made an effort to welcome kids, young and elderly people who are unaware or vanished from the Turban for any reason.

The sewadaars bought the Turbans by collecting the money amongst themselves, distributed and tied the turbans to the participants on the spot. This sewa was done on the eve of New Year – 31-12-2017 at the most important pilgrimage site of Sikhism – Harmandir Sahib, commonly known as Golden Temple.

The sewadaars tied the turban to almost 50 interested people on new years eve but according to them, the sewa will be successful even if one of the participating candidates embraces the turban for his lifetime.
